Departure
on Saturday at 7.20 one of India's most spectacular
train journeys which passes through the western
ghats. We pass untouched rural villages, innumerable
rock tunnels, which are wet Surrounding forest
covers, which tries to imitate an Amazon Jungle
fauna.
The undisputable secluded feeling
of being in serene nature, away from the normal
commotion you face on any roads. The train even
passes over the Goa's famed waterfall the Dudhsagar,
affectionately called (worshipped) by the locals
as the milk river. As we travel thru rural villages,
we make our way to this hidden village which is
home to one of the biggest in India Gaden Shartse
Monastery and the Drepung Gomang Monastery. We
drive through the settlement s, see the Jangchub
Choeling Nunnery, stop for Buffet Lunch at the
Rato Dratsang Guest House and then go to see the
making of of traditional tibetan carpets, incense
sticks, arts and crafts training school.
We end our tour seeing the Siddhi
tribal people and seeing their way of life on
our way to Karwar to arrive Goa at 8.pm to your
resort. |
